I don't personally know Ms. Vickie, but when I stumbled upon her website, I stumbled upon a blessing!
God is blessing this family and using Ms. Vickie to better his world. The spreadsheet I looked at and found very helpful was for budgeting.

When surfing the net, you have to be careful and prayerful and when in doubt, do without.

Thank God for people like Ms. Vickie and I pray that she will continue to do God's will and work in His ways.

May God continue to bless her and use her and may He continue to strengthen and heal her husband! Marker down to 99 from 1725????? If that's not a blessing, I don't know what is! Miracles do happen if you believe and have faith the size of a mustard seed! Yet, some people still have doubts. We must keep praying and witnessing.

Thank you Ms. Vickie for you witnessing and testifying and for reaching back to help others. That's what it's all about. When I see you in Heaven, I'll know you!

Free Accounting Spreadsheets were a Life Saver!

I've been on this site for an hour trying to locate a basic free accounting form for my church. There is not one form that I can 1. locate 2. download. Too much of nothing but what you can buy.

I simply want a free accounting (basic) accounting form different departments can use to track their assets and debits. All of this pretense of free forms is misleading!

I apologize, Pastor, for your difficulty in obtaining my free accounting spreadsheets.

I ask for people to sign up for my newsletter to get the spreadsheets ONLY because I have found errors in the spreadsheet and the newsletter is a way I can contact them with the instructions on how to fix the error...HOWEVER on my free spreadsheet page I state that if you do not want to sign up for my newsletter...to contact me (I provide the link to the contact form) and I will send you the download page.

Again, Pastor, I sincerely apologize for your aggravation in trying to find the spreadsheets. I felt lead to build this site back in 2008 for the purpose of helping small churches and pastors such as yourself with my accounting spreadsheets and accounting tips.

I put the link up and thousands downloaded the spreadsheet directly from my site and then months later I found an error that would mess up their accounting totals and they probably did not even realize it...but I had no way to contact everyone that had downloaded that particular workbook.

It was then I decided to ask people to sign up for my newsletter first so I could have a way to contact them if I ever found another one...which I did:-)

I will try to reword it to make it clearer how to get the free spreadsheets:-)

Spreadsheet Question

I feel silly asking this question, but I am new to the Treasurer position at our new church.

I am very excited to find your spreadsheets and am well versed in Excel.

What I am not sure about is why you have Income #1 and Income #2 and Expense #1, #2 etc. Can you give me examples of how you would use these separately?

You will need to personalize the spreadsheets by typing in the categories you need for your church.
For Example: type "Offerings" in income 1 and "Fundraisers" or "Other Income “in income 2.

Then type "Salaries" in expense 1, "Office Supplies" in expense 2, "Sunday School Supplies" in 3, "Insurance" in 4, etc.

Thank you, Vickey for providing all of the free help and free spreadsheets for us small church accounting people.

When I took on the job this past winter, it was daunting because the previous Treasurer wasn't using Excel and everyone had lots of advice for me, but no one actually had anything I found helpful.

So when I searched for something to help me and found your wonderful website, it was answered prayer. The spreadsheets, collection counting sheet, and advice have been perfect for our little church.

I just thank the Lord for Vickey!I was able to find her web page because of the name she gave it then Free. Ever since it has worked out for me. Amazing spreadsheets very smooth and understandable. I have downloaded the spreadsheets and am currently using them. I had no trouble downloading and the only problem I have with using them is getting more familiar with the use of Excel. I do truly appreciate the work you have done and sharing it with all of our Christian brothers and sisters in Christ. Downloading Free Spreadsheets

My initial attempt to dismiss the spreadsheets gave me a message that the files were corrupted. Being that I am an IT Specialist, I decided to try again a week later. I received the same msg. I did not bother to try again, just assumed you had old junk on your website. After receiving your email about your new spreadsheet review page, I have decided to try again, particularly because I am having any problems with any other download offerings from any other sites.

I have used these spreadsheets and other info found on this site. It has without a doubt helped me tremendously. While I have a mathematical background with my degree, the whole topic of church accounting frightened me. Not fright from lack of knowledge of how to build a spreadsheet, but rather fear of not doing things "right". You calmed those fears. And I have NEVER had a problem with any of your downloads. Ever.

The wonderful people I have met through this site have been a tremendous blessing to me also.

When God laid the idea of this site on my heart years ago....I thought I might be able to help out a few small churches with some accounting information and the spreadsheets. I could not have even imagined how big it would become or how blessed I would be for it.

I have sent out my free spreadsheets to over 10,000 diferent churches and nonprofits in over 100 different countries worldwide. I also have thousands of churches all over this world praying for my husband. I am extremely blessed!
