Retirement fund 403 B for pastors

When a withdrawal is made from a 403 B retirement fund for housing allowance, how is it reported by the Finance Company on the pastor's w2?

How does the finance company know it is for housing allowance?

Is it reporting as income from the 403 B firm and left up to the pastor to record the housing allowance when doing his taxes?
