Pastor's Love Tokens

by Vanessa

Our Pastor has received over $1,000 this year in Love Tokens from members. They were all cash tokens that were given with the regular offerings, recorded and then give to the Pastor. Do I report this to the IRS as income for the pastor or just issue him a 1099? Not quite sure how to handle this.

Love offerings to ministers need to be added as income, or look to your left and click on "love offerings"
just add it to which ever income form used, W-2 or 1099 misc, not a separate form.
