My husband is a pastor and the church do not provide medical insurance for us a family of 4, his salary is 1500 a month.

He also get a house allowance of 1,000 a month, do the housing allowance need to be reported as part of his income when applying for medicaid assistance.

If you want to DIY your payroll, I highly recommend you look at using Gusto! It is very user friendly and their support is awesome! Plus they know how to set up and maintain payrolls for churches and nonprofit organizations.
