Should all types of giving be recorded on the end of year contribution statement.

My church accepts Tithes and Offering 3 different ways. In person giving during service, through Givelify an online giving site, and through cash app.

My question is should all types of giving be recorded on 1 end of year contribution statement or is it ok to issue a contribution statement for the contributions given at the church then using the statement generated through Givelify?

Most online giving apps generate an instant receipt AND as you stated...you can pull an annual one at year end, so IF your governing body is ok with donors getting multiple receipts...you can definitely do it that way =)

Most of my bookkeeping clients wants their donors to get one receipt, so we record all online and offline in one donation tracking software =(
