My husband is the pastor of a small congregation. Can they put money away for his retirement without him having to pay self employment tax on it- What kind of fund would this be and where could it be set up?

Qualified Retirement Plans
by: Vickey

Churches have available all the qualified retirement plan options that are available to any for-profit.

They have to be set up properly, so my best advice is to obtain the services and advice of a qualified tax professional.
