Clergy opts of of Social Security, so that does that make the housing allowance not subject to SE tax and ordinary tax?

Came across my first clergy client that has opted out.

If Have IRS Approval, a Housing Allowance can be Completely Nontaxable

If the IRS approved his filed 4361, his housing allowance is NOT subject to SE tax and completely nontaxable.

If you want to DIY your payroll, I highly recommend you look at using Gusto! It is very user friendly and their support is awesome! Plus they know how to set up and maintain payrolls for churches and nonprofit organizations.
