Guidelines for taking an income from personal ministry

Hello,

I am in the process of starting a personal ministry and I'm wondering what the guidelines are for taking an income from donations received. Is there a percentage rule or some type of guideline that I could use? My goal is to eventually work with my ministry full-time and quit my day job. Would I be allowed to take an income from my ministry?
