Is the amount that the Church pays to the Pastor or direct to a provider for a health insurance deductible ($2,000) considered taxable income by the IRS? Thank you

There are many variables to health care. One thing to keep in mind: IF it is included in his benefit package and if you are using a accountable reimbursement plan it most likely will not be included on his w-2. The IRS has "caps" on what is allowed and also it must not be private benefit or inurement. If you have access to an accountant it would be best to ask, also calling the IRS is always a good way to go.
Hope this helps

Note: I am a "partner" of Gusto, but as I have told you before ... I never recommend anything that we or our clients have not tried and love =)
