We have a small church with 24 members and 3 person on the payroll. I just started to work with the Treasurer to help with the accounting.
We have been using Excel and we need to transition to an accounting software that can help with our 941 form and the W2 and W3. I have looked into Quickbook and Peachtree Sage and I think they are a little expensive for a small church.
Have anyone used Flockbase?
Is it easy to use?
Does the software help your church with bookkeeping?
I didn't see a free trial version available on their web site. We don't want a software that we have to subscribe monthly so I started to look at Flockbase.
They seem like the only one that is fairly inexpensive.
IS there any other software available that is comparable that I can also consider?

If you want to DIY your payroll, I highly recommend you look at using Gusto! It is very user friendly and their support is awesome! Plus they know how to set up and maintain payrolls for churches and nonprofit organizations.
Note: I am a "partner" of Gusto, but as I have told you before ... I never recommend anything that we or our clients have not tried and love =)
