I am looking for software to keep track of many small funds, such as milk fund, hot lunch fund, grade 1, grade 2, etc., etc. We have about 20 funds.
For each fund I need a record of income, expenses, and current balance. Also, it should show checking account deposits, checks written, and the bank balance. I have been using MoneyCounts; but it is obsolete, not supported, and not compatible with Windows 7 and 8. (Except for using virtual XP mode on Windows 7 x32)
If you know of such fund accounting software, please post a comment.
If you want to DIY your payroll, I highly recommend you look at using Gusto! It is very user friendly and their support is awesome! Plus they know how to set up and maintain payrolls for churches and nonprofit organizations.
Note: I am a "partner" of Gusto, but as I have told you before ... I never recommend anything that we or our clients have not tried and love =)
