Need a official W-2 and W-3

How do I obtain a W-2 and W-3 to complete for my pastor? I have signed up thru the IRS several times but it will not let me download the forms. Tired of paying an accountant what I use to do before W-2 and W-3 stopped being offered an federal buildings.

File W-2 and W-3 Online
by: Vickey

You can "order" W-2s and the W-3 forms from the IRS site, BUT you can not download the "scannable" W-3.

Google "W-3" and the PDF has this warning on the first page: "The official printed version of this IRS form is scannable, but the online version of it, printed from this website, is not. Do not print and file Copy A downloaded from this website with the SSA; a penalty may be imposed for filing forms that
can’t be scanned."

There is also links on that first page that links to those forms you can order.

However... you can file those forms free of charge on a Social Security site: https://www.ssa.gov/bso/bsowelcome.htm

There are also some "easy-to-use" and cheap "efile" W-2/W-3 sites such as tax1099 and efile4biz.

If you want to DIY your payroll, I highly recommend you look at using Gusto! It is very user friendly and their support is awesome! Plus they know how to set up and maintain payrolls for churches and nonprofit organizations.

Note: I am a "partner" of Gusto, but as I have told you before ... I never recommend anything that we or our clients have not tried and love =)
