Possession of Reimbursement

If a church reimburses a pastor for the purchase of a computer or any other church related technological device, does that make the computer property of the pastor or the church?

Thanks for your response.

If the church paid or reimbursed for...the computer or any other "asset"...it belongs to the church.

If it is a "gift" for the minister...it's taxable income =)

If you want to DIY your payroll, I highly recommend you look at using Gusto! It is very user friendly and their support is awesome! Plus they know how to set up and maintain payrolls for churches and nonprofit organizations.

Note: I am a "partner" of Gusto, but as I have told you before ... I never recommend anything that we or our clients have not tried and love =)
