We are trying to make sure our chart of accounts is categorized correctly.
Besides our tithes and offerings, which we categorized as non-profit revenue we also host multiple Bible-based classes, studies and trainings.
We recently stopped advertising as "suggested donation" and started this year charging a set price.
Would this mean that our bookkeeper needs to create a sub-category and file this as something other than non-profit revenue now that the prices are no longer donations?

If you want to DIY your payroll, I highly recommend you look at using Gusto! It is very user friendly and their support is awesome! Plus they know how to set up and maintain payrolls for churches and nonprofit organizations.
Note: I am a "partner" of Gusto, but as I have told you before ... I never recommend anything that we or our clients have not tried and love =)
