Can this type of plan be set up for a volunteer in the church? Say the Pastors wife?

Accountable Reimbursement Plans

We have a plan for our pastor mainly mileage but much of the travel for kitchen, office supplies and other items are done by the Pastors wife. We were under the impression they needed to be an employee to qualify for a Accountable Reimbursement Plan. So can we set up a separate plan for her?

If you want to DIY your payroll, I highly recommend you look at using Gusto! It is very user friendly and their support is awesome! Plus they know how to set up and maintain payrolls for churches and nonprofit organizations.

Note: I am a "partner" of Gusto, but as I have told you before ... I never recommend anything that we or our clients have not tried and love =)
